Anker Arbeitsbühnen
The rental company Anker Arbeitsbühnen rents machines to the construction industry, including cranes and other lifting equipment. In addition to equipment rental, the company offers customers an extra service by advising them on the best way to solve their specific task.
A strong helper when space is tight
Many of Anker Arbeitsbühnen’s customers reach out because the company specializes in equipment for slightly more complex tasks, ensuring they always get the most suitable machine for the job. This is secured through an initial visit where Anker Arbeitsbühnen’s specialists inspect the task and advise on the best machine for the job and the optimal way to handle the lifting task.
It is precisely due to the high demand for machines for more complex lifting tasks that Anker Arbeitsbühnen has chosen to include a Smartlift in their rental fleet.
Being able to offer customers a compact and powerful machine for particularly challenging tasks is crucial—especially when the material is heavy, and space is limited.
Lifts large glass pieces easily and effortlessly
Anker's specialized advisors were tasked with finding a lifting machine for a customer who needed to install glass coverings in a stairwell. This is a unique environment with very little space for equipment and even less space for installers, who would otherwise have to lift the large glass pieces into the stairwell and maneuver the heavy construction elements into place manually.
The advisors found the perfect lifter for the job: the SL 608 HLE RT. With a width of only 33 in, installers can easily maneuver the vacuum lifter around the stairwell, and with a lifting capacity of 1320 lbs, it handles even the largest glass pieces without difficulty.
The vacuum lifter is equipped with a rotating yoke, making it easy to tilt the glass panels into the perfect position, even when space is tight, such as in a stairwell or through a window opening. The rotating yoke provides maximum flexibility and lifts the glass into place, allowing the installers to carefully mount it without straining their shoulders, backs, or their colleagues' backs.
